| St Leopold's Church ("Kirche am Steinhof"), the church of Vienna's psychiatric hospital, is a wonderful and stunning example of Jugendstil - the Art Nouveau style, and the only one of its style in Vienna. The church (built in 1905-07) was designed by Otto Wagner (1841-1918), leader of the Viennese architectural revival of the late 19th century. |

| Once a week, on Saturday at 3 pm, there is an opportunity to marvel at Otto Wagner's Kirche am Steinhof (Baumgartnerhöhe 1), a jewel of a church in the art nouveau style. The only option is to join this tour because the church still serves Vienna's psychiatric hospital (949060-2391; bus 48A from the Burgring). |
